Making an EskiBeat

So here’s a video of me making an Eskibeat.  The phrase ‘eskibeat’ came from ‘Eskimo‘ which is the name given to arguably the first ever Grime instrumental.  ‘Eskibeat’ is a subgenre of instrumental Grime first created by the Godfather Wiley.  Basically I wanted to try and flip my own style of Eskibeat by taking the kind of blinking sound along with minimalist grime style beats.  It’s probably not ‘Eskibeat’ in it’s purist form (especially as Wiley didn’t make the beat.  I did!) but the main thing was not to copy Wiley but to try and flip it into my own kind of sound whilst demonstrating where I got my influence from.
